Telemarketing and cold calling leave most of our customers cold. They don’t want that blah-blah sales process from a caller who stays on the phone until you hang up. It might work in some markets (although we doubt it) but it certainly doesn’t work for our clients.
If your company sells a fairly straightforward product, in a clearly defined market to a known job holder we are not for you.
If you need more sales of a complex product or service we could start talking. And if you feel you can’t trust anyone else to get it right... we just might be the answer. No promises, though. To be honest you might find our approach a bit too unusual. In fact – we have to say it – it is almost the reverse of a normal sales call.
For a start you might not want to collaborate with us so closely. We spend a long, long time getting to appreciate the problems your customers are facing – no quick jumping on the phones with us. Then once the door is open we nurture the relationship with your prospects with courtesy which takes time. We are very persistent and find the people you want to meet. With a complex sale it is better to see all the decision-makers at once. We facilitate the meeting set-up so all you have to do is walk through the door. Then it is up to you how the meeting progresses, but you will have our wealth of knowledge and research to help you close the sale.
In fact all our preliminary research helps to contribute to your profits. Some of the companies we work with have dropped out-of-date product lines, brought out new services and grown with supreme confidence. (Yes, even in the recession).
